My Story

CiCi’s Knots is a woman-owned macramé business rooted in the Pacific Northwest, creating one-of-a-kind wall hangings, plant hangers, and accessories that blend beauty, function, and sustainability.

I’m Ciarra Flint, the creative hands behind CiCi’s Knots. My journey with macramé began in 2019, inspired by my deep love for the outdoors, upcycling, design, and all things “boho.” Born and raised in the stunning Pacific Northwest, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of nature and the art of transforming simple materials into something extraordinary.

It all started after I moved home from college and realized I didn’t have enough room for all my plants! Without enough shelf space, I crafted my first macramé plant hanger using gardening cord—and CiCi’s Knots was born. As my skills and vision grew, I expanded from plant hangers to wall hangings, earrings, accessories and even large-scale wedding backdrops.

These days, I live full-time in my vintage 1978 Winnebago, traveling across the country and soaking in inspiration from the diverse landscapes and communities I encounter. My Winnebago, with its retro charm and authentic 70s vibe, feels like a time capsule from an era that heavily influences my art. The free-spirited energy of the 70s—its focus on creativity, self-expression, and natural textures—resonates deeply in my macramé work. Living in this nostalgic space, surrounded by warm tones and earthy designs, helps me stay connected to the roots of the craft I love so much.

In every piece, I aim to combine sustainability and creativity. Many of my designs include materials I’ve foraged or upcycled, adding unique textures and stories to my work. I’m passionate about creating art that’s not only beautiful but also functional and deeply connected to the world around us.
